1. What cookies are
Small text files that websites store on a visitor's device to remember information between visits. Equivalent technologies, such as local storage, follow the same rules.
2. Our approach
This site uses a single first-party cookie, technical in nature. The booking form and the map are not loaded until you activate them: they are the content described in section 4.
The site also uses Google Tag Manager, a tool that loads and manages measurement tags. It is active on every page and, in order to work, sends your IP address to Google's servers. We set no profiling cookies and run no behavioural advertising, and we share no data with advertising networks. Typefaces are hosted on our own servers and generate no third-party requests.
3. Cookies used
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Technical, first-party | Remembers the chosen language | 12 months | Not required |
| jungle-embed:thefork · jungle-embed:gmaps | Local storage, first-party | Remembers that you activated the booking form or the map, so you are not asked again on every visit | Until cleared from the browser | Not required |
Technical cookies are exempt from prior consent under art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code: without them the requested function could not be provided.
4. Third-party content
Booking form (TheFork) — the Book page offers the form provided by LaFourchette SAS, TripAdvisor group. It is loaded only after your consent: from that moment TheFork may set its own cookies and receive your IP address. Processing is governed by TheFork's privacy policy. You can also book by phone on +39 02 6556 3706, with no third-party cookies at all.
Map (Google Maps) — on the Location page the map is not loaded when the page opens: a preview is shown instead. Only if you choose to activate it is the content requested from Google Ireland Limited's servers, which may set cookies and receive your IP. Processing is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Google Tag Manager — unlike the two items above, it is active on every page and does not require you to activate it. It is a tag manager: it collects no data by itself, but loads the measurement tools configured by the controller and sends your IP address to Google Ireland Limited. Any cookies set depend on which tools are active in the container; where these are not technical in nature, their use is subject to consent. Processing is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Image and video delivery — served by BunnyWay d.o.o.'s network (Slovenia, EU). The service receives the IP address, technically necessary to deliver the files, and sets no cookies.
External links — the site links to Instagram and to the booking system. Following a link takes you to third-party sites, with their own notices, over which we have no control.
5. Managing your preferences
The booking form and the map are not loaded until you activate them. Once activated, your choice is stored on your device: to revoke it, simply clear the site data from your browser settings and you will be asked again.
You can also delete cookies already stored, or prevent them from being stored, from the same settings. Disabling the language cookie will not stop the site from working, but it will no longer remember your chosen language.
6. Data controller
